Let me just say that I noticed a HUGE, HUGE, HUGE difference in my 7th grader this year! I bought this book for the first time over the summer and I am so happy that I did! We've noticed a huge difference in preparedness for school since using this work book. I bought one for my 6th to 7th grader and my 5th to 6th grader. For both of them, they knew quite a bit of the material covered in the school the first grading period - so they're ability to learn new things and to really focus on what was being taught was so much better.I like how each day has four lessons that focus on different subjects. The lessons get progressively harder, but are very well thought out. Each day is designed to take about 15 minutes, so there's not too much grumbling about doing school work over the summer.I'm very happy with this book and I'll definitely be buying these again!

I thought I would get a lot of grief asking my kids to work on their summer activities book. I asked one sheet per day (which they are labeled) made it easier for them to digest. My oldest son actually enjoys it, and hasn't missed one day since we got it. The topics he doesn't know/ understand, he uses youtube or google to learn the lesson.I highly recommend these books.

Well organized and provides a good transition from 6th to 7th grade. I use them over summer breaks to keep my kids' brains active and to give them a head start for the new school year. the book is broken down into sections, but also by days, so it is easy to keep track of their progress.

My favorite summer workbook series, we have used them for years! The lessons are a great review. My kids tolerate them, but that's not the workbook's fault. They are not happy doing anything school related over the summer lol! The kids never seems to have trouble getting back into the swing of things when school resumes.

Ordered for my 11 yr old daughter so she can do school work over the summer to prepare her for the 7th grade come September 2018. I really like the format of this book and that it also encourages exercise. It's bad enough there's usually so much homework during the school year that kids really are not left with time to head outside to just be kids and get in free exercise. The developers of this book understand the importance of exercise. My daughter does a few pages in the book everyday after camp this summer and if the weather permits she goes outside to ride her bike and or play with her friends. There's math, reading and vocabulary work in the book so her brain stays fresh and active and prepared for the upcoming school year.

All the Summer Bridge books are great. I really wish they had a reading passage for each day, just something short, as those skills of proving answers are used in every subject. I often give my child two days at a time so he will have one each time, and then just don't do work each day.

Love this! It gives the kids just enough work without them feeling overwhelmed or like they're having to really do school work during their summer break. Divides it up by days, front and back page for each day. More of a reminder of their studies than in depth lessons. It's working out perfectly for us and our stubborn little boy who hates to do school work.

My son needed something to help make sure he didn't lose everything during the summer. My boyfriend's daughter was given this brand of workbook by her school for 2-3 grade bridge. They both enjoy the activities and the organization of the book. Sometimes my son will be able to do 2 days worth at one time, which boosts his confidence.
