Good overview of the 'Steel City'

good book

I was planning a trip to Pittsburgh and the only 2 travel books I could find on the city were this one and the Moon Pittsburgh book. This book didn't provide any insites or information that couldn't be found by doing a quick web search. The style of writing was boring and did nothing to peak my interest in my trip. This book needed more and better maps, a bit of humor, and better organization. The Moon book was much more informative and up-to-date.

I purchased this book after relocating to Pittsburgh. It is very thorough and has great insider tips. I know more about Pittsbugh now than some natives.

wanted to get some great photos and some intersting tidbits of life here as this will be my hub for a retirement trip I've been planning
