I love Sarah Noffke's writing & I have loved every book of hers that I have read. When she announced that she was writing a book about werewolves, I have to admit that I was a little doubtful. Don't get me wrong....I love werewolves, but I just wasn't sure about the fit with Ms. Noffke's books. I couldn't have been more wrong!These werewolves are not the Lon Chaney/Teen Wolf type werewolves. They are manufactured by an evil man who wants to rule the world (what else is new?) & in addition to being forced to shift into wolves, they also have enhanced powers. And, I was glad to find out that they are also DREAM TRAVELERS!!!!!The addition of familiar characters from Ms. Noffke's dream traveler series is a definite plus. And, I loved the introduction of another snarky Brit into the mix! Wonderful, awesome, can't-stop-turning the pages.....I can't say enough about this book! I am glad that Ms. Noffke is a prolific writer so that I don't have to wait too long to continue this series!

This is why I love Sarah Noffke. She can take something so cliche as werewolves and make it extraordinary! The storyline had me intrigued from reading the blurb and I was quickly sucked in. I devoured this book like a starving wolf on a fresh hunt. The author gives us a fresh new look into the world of the Dream Travelers. Olento is the black to the Lucidiets white. The evil to the pure. The mad to the sane. Mika is the perfect bad guy. His pure evil genius mixed with gift stolen from the Dream Travelers make some interesting characters I loved all these new characters.Addy oh my dear Addy. She filled the void I thought would be left when Ren left us.Zephyr the alpha hottie, Quite and thoughtful paired with Roxy the quick mouth FBI agent makes me need more from them. Kaleb the sexy as sin red wolf, will he be the one to break into the human race loathing Addy? Only the next book will let us know.
This book made me happy in so many ways. I've read Sarah's other series Ren and it was great to see the next generation in action. While the men who went missing had some horrible experiments done on them, the two ladies in charge of tracking them down are sassy and tough. The puns and dog jokes are hilarious and I love how the sarcastic jokes are funny but not mean. At least they don't seem to be to me. The men have broken free of their physical prison but have trouble controlling the inner beast they have been given. If you've read Ren your in for a treat, if you haven't you'll still get a kick out of these two ladies taking charge. There is no adult content, and there is violence. Their captors will do anything even kill to get them back. Highly recommend and can't wait for book 2!!!!
